Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 28, 2026
AnyDaruma is a network proxy client for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV. This policy explains what information we handle, what we don’t, and the choices you have. In short: we do not inspect or log your network traffic.
01 Information We Collect
To make the app work, we handle the following limited information:
- Account identifier — the email or username you sign in with, used to authenticate you against your chosen provider.
- Site code and login details — transmitted only to the provider endpoint your site code resolves to, in order to activate and sign you in; never shared with any third party.
- On-device data — your subscription configuration, selected node, and connection diagnostic logs (for troubleshooting). This stays on your device, and leaves it only if you choose to copy or send it (for example, when contacting support).
- Support messages — if you contact in-app support or open a ticket, the subject and message you write, together with your session token, are sent to your chosen provider to handle the request, and are governed by that provider’s privacy policy (see §5).
02 Information We Do Not Collect
AnyDaruma keeps no record of what you do online. We do not read, analyze, store, or transmit your traffic, the sites you visit, your DNS lookups, the contents of a tunnel session, your location, hardware identifiers, or usage metrics. The app ships without any third-party SDK for analytics, advertising, or tracking.
03 How We Use Information
The limited information above serves one purpose only — making the app work: verifying who you are, fetching the configuration tied to your site code, and opening the connection on your device. None of it is monetized: we run no advertising, marketing, analytics, or profiling against your data, and we never sell it, rent it, or hand it to any outside party.
04 Network Extension Framework
AnyDaruma runs no VPN or proxy servers and provides no network access of its own. It uses Apple’s Network Extension framework to establish the connection locally on your device. Traffic flows directly between your device and your chosen provider’s servers; it does not pass through any server we operate, and we cannot see its contents.
05 Service Providers
The servers are operated by the provider you select via your site code, not by AnyDaruma. Your relationship with that provider, and that provider’s handling of your data, are governed by their own terms and privacy policy. Please review them before use.
06 Backups and iCloud
If you enable device or iCloud backups, the app’s on-device data may be included according to your Apple settings. Such backups are controlled by Apple and your settings, and are outside our control.
07 Data Security
Sign-in credentials are stored in the system Keychain. Any sensitive settings stored on the device (for example, the external-proxy credentials you may enter yourself) are encrypted. Network requests to providers travel over encrypted channels. Please note that no method of storage or transmission is ever completely secure.
08 Data Retention and Deletion
On-device data (subscription configuration and connection logs) is removed when you sign out or uninstall the app. You can delete your account directly within the app: open the Account screen and tap “Delete Account.” Server-side data associated with your account is handled by your chosen provider under their policy.
09 Children’s Privacy
AnyDaruma is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10 Changes to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any update is reflected in the date shown beneath the title above, and significant changes will be surfaced in the app or on this site where appropriate.
